The dresses have been chosen.

The flowers have been ordered. All white bouquet for the bride and purple, lavender and white for the bridesmaids. Dad helped pick out the centerpeices for the dinner tables too. It' will be beautiful.

We have the location booked. Wedding in the gazebo, reception in the ballroom. Felicia loves the location because it is so green and pretty outside, Brandon loves the location because it has golf.

Notre Dame

Tarisa and I went to Notre Dame University for a week in July. She was competing in the National Twirling Championships. This is the biggest twirling competition of the year, girls from all over the US come to compete for National titles. Tarisa has been a competitive baton twirler for 7 years. This is the 3rd year that she has gone to Nationals - she competed in 5 solo events and 2 team events and earned 3 fourth place and 4 second place medals. She was a bit disappointed because this is the first year she has not won a first place national title, but still, she did well as there were 40 girls in her age group. Notre Dame is a beautiful school and we had fun with the other team members from California.

Jared's 12th Birthday

Jared turned 12 on July 17th. We all went bowling then had cake and ice cream at home. He loved the "longboard" skateboard the dad got for him and he bought a Wii game called Guitar Hero, with alll the birthday cash that came in the mail. Thanks everyone!

Happy Fourth!

After eating hot dogs, baked beans and potato salad, we loaded up the whole family and went to Temecula to see the big fireworks show. We tossed around a football in the park and had Kettle Corn. We even brought the Divot and Boo (they mostly hid from the noise). Hope you had a fun 4th! Gerald, Cris, Liana, Tarisa, Jared, Audra, Katrina & Jeff, Felicia & Brandon, Boo & Divot.

Universal Studios Hollywood and Wii !

I've been reading about people taking their summer vacation in their own backyard because of the (gasp!) high gas prices. Well that's exactly what we have been doing. First Disney, then Universal, and our new Wii game system. All to entertain us this summer!

Baby Shower for Katrina

On June 22nd we had a shower for Katrina and baby. Felicia and I, Peggy and Ashley and Aimee (her mom-in-law and sis-in-laws) hosted at our home. We had good food and specialty punch. Felicia arranged the onesie painting and Peggy made the beautiful cupcakes. Ashley planned some fun games and prizes. Katrina and baby recieved many beautiful gifts and necessities from family and friends. Everyone had fun. Katrina posted many photos on her website (babylohman.blogspot.com). I've posted a few for you to see here. Can't wait to post the new baby pictures.....just about 6 weeks to go!

Disney Photos

Disneyland & CA Adventure Park

Wednesday, June 11th, 2 days before school gets out for summer we had a minimum day. I took Jared, Audra, Tarisa and Felicia to Disney. Liana stayed home to study for her finals, and Dad was working. We only had 6 hours, not alot of time to do 2 parks, but we had fun. Jared chose the submarines and Audra wanted to drive Autopia cars. We went "Soarin' Over California" in the virtual hang gliders and saw sis-in-law Aimee in the Pixar parade (she was a jellyfish). The favorite, i think, was Pirates of the Caribbean with surprise "appearances" by Johnny Depp.
