Lakers Rule!

Our house has alot of LA Laker fans. Dad and Jared attended the NBA Finals Game 2

at Staples Center in LA.

The next few games were out of town, so we watched at home.

Hawaii! 6/09

Right after graduation, Liana and friend Larissa took a 14day trip to Hawaii. They stayed with Liana's grandma & grandpa in Honolulu and also visited Uncle Kevin, Aunt Adriana and cousin Kaile on the North Shore.

June 2009

A week before school got out, Audra's class took a field trip to the Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside. Mom chaperoned. The mission was beautiful and she enjoyed sketching it with her classmates.

June 5th - My sister's birthday. Happy Birthday Cindy! Here is a photo of Cindy and me.

June 6th was Cindy's youngest son's birthday. Happy Birthday to my nephew Gabe! Isn't he cute.

June 12 was a HUGE day for our family. It was the last day of school for the year, for Tarisa (10th), Jared (6th) and Audra (4th). It was also High School Gradulation Day for Liana! She made it,earned her diploma, and is on her way to college in August. We are so proud!

May Events 2009

This has been a busy month.

It started off with Liana going to the MVHS prom at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Here is a photo of her with her date Khurtis. May 2nd.

Then, on May 3rd, Tarisa was in the Miss Majorette of California Competition. She won the Intermediate Junior Pageant.

Her friend Brandie (University of South Dakota), won the College Miss Majorette title.

On May 4th, we bought a cute Jeep for Tarisa to drive. She pitched in with her savings too.

She got her permit on May 7th, and Felicia was the first to teach her how to drive stick shift.

May 8th. Liana's 18th birthday! She also had her senior photos taken this week by a talented photographer. You can see all the proofs here: http://www.bloggingwithmichello.blogspot.com/

Handmade cards from Mother's Day. My family spoiled me with some of my favorite things, earrings, perfume and books!

On May 16th, Liana went to the VMHS Prom with Steven. It was at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. Cute!

The week of the 13th thru 16th, Tarisa was in the MVHS Dance Production "Right as Rain". She was in seven dances each performance and was exhausted by the end of the week.

May 19th was the TMS Choir Variety Show. It was songs from the 60's. Jared's group sang Locomotion, Twist and Shout and Do You Love Me.

The 20th thru 22nd was MVHS Choir Variety Show. The theme was braodway showtunes. Liana sang the Theme From Sweeny Todd and Masquerede (from Phantom of the Opera).

May 25th is Felicia's 24th birthday.

Monday, Jared likes to go to Karate by himself. He says it makes him nervous when we watch. So, I drop him off, read for awhile in my car,then I go in to catch the last 15 minutes of class.

Tuesday. Audra captured this rainbow over our neighborhood while we were driving to school.

Thursday. Audra and her singing valentines group at school. They performed to the Beach Boys' "Fun, Fun, Fun" and delivered almost 100 singing valentines to groups of 4-6 students in each classroom. It took most of the school day.

Friday. Still raining.
